Chicago Audiofest - 2005

The first annual Chicago Audiofest is scheduled for October 14th - 16th. It was originally schduled to take place at Homewood Suites of Schaumburg, Illinois. The hotel decided they would not care to host the event. So the venue has been changed.

The new venue is the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, 1800 East Golf Road, Schaumburg, Illinois. The telephone number is (847) 605-1234

This event was created for the purpose of meeting friends, sharing ideas and presenting speaker designs and related audio equipment with special emphasis on DIY efforts. Speaker designs will include a range of projects from $250 to projects that rival some of the best systems in the world. Awards will be presetnted to the winners in each speaker class.

The public is invited and the price of admission will be $10 per person (to help defray expenses). You are welcome to simply stop by to see and hear the projects presented, or you can exhibit your own designs.
